The aging of skin is a natural process.  It is inevitable.  We cannot prevent it.  But we CAN slow it down.  In this article we hope to enlighten you on the causes of skin aging, prevention, and treatments and products now available that are non-invasive and affordable.  For those who are comfortable with their chronological age but want to look younger, this information if for you.

The Causes of Aging Skin

•  Cumulative sun exposure is the single largest factor.
•  Years of facial expression leads to wrinkle formation.
•  Loss of subcutaneous fat which naturally happens as we age leads to the loss of fullness in our skin.
•  Loss of tissue elasticity over time leads to sagging under the effects of gravity.
•  Our bony and cartilaginous structure changes over time leading to facial asymmetry.
